PeptideReconstitutionCalculator.org is an independent website that does one job: turning a vial size, a water volume and a dose into numbers you can read off a syringe. We built it because unit conversions between mg, mcg, mL and syringe units are easy to get wrong, and most existing calculators hide their math.
How we approach it
- Show the work. Every result has a "Show the math" panel with each step and your own numbers.
- Warn early. The calculator flags volumes that will not fit your syringe, doses larger than the vial, and readings too small to measure well.
- Stay in our lane. We do arithmetic. We never suggest doses, products or protocols.
- Private by design. Calculations run in your browser; we do not collect the numbers you enter.
The formulas
The calculators use standard dilution arithmetic: concentration equals amount divided by volume, and a U-100 insulin syringe has 100 units per mL (1 unit = 0.01 mL). The formulas are written out on each calculator page so anyone can verify them.
